Echo

Questions

Is the Echo Effect tool free?

Yes, 100% free. No sign up, no watermark and no limits.

Does my file get uploaded?

No. Your file never leaves your device. Everything happens right in your browser, so it stays private and works on unreleased tracks, beats and voice memos too.

How do I add echo to audio?

Drop your file in the box, press Play and pick a preset like Classic Echo. Adjust Delay time, Repeats and Echo volume, then click Export MP3.

What is the difference between echo and reverb?

Echo is clear, separate repeats of the sound. Reverb is a smooth wash of reflections, like a room. For reverb, use our Add Reverb tool.

What does Repeats do?

It sets how many times the echo comes back. Low values give one or two repeats, high values keep echoing for a long time.

How do I make a canyon echo?

Pick the Canyon preset: a long delay with lots of repeats.

Can I add echo to my voice?

Yes. Short echoes (Slapback) thicken vocals, long echoes sound dramatic.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works on iPhone and Android in your normal browser.

Can I download it?

Yes. Click Export MP3 or Export WAV.

What file types can I use?

Any audio your browser can play: MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and more. Save the result as MP3 or WAV.

No sound on my iPhone?

Turn off silent mode (the switch or Action button on the side), turn up the volume, and press Play again. Older iPhones mute web audio in silent mode.
